Mobile phone snatched from train passenger at Sanvordem station

VASCO:

A mobile phone worth â‚¹15,000 was snatched from a train passenger in the early hours of April 20 while the Vasco-Yeshvantpur Express was halted at the Sanvordem Railway Station.

According to the complaint filed by Kannabhiran C., of Chennai, the incident occurred around 3:47 am when an unknown person snatched his phone from inside the coach and fled.

Following the complaint, Vasco Railway Police registered a case under Sections 304(2) and 303(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

The investigation is currently being led by PSI Krishna Talpi of Vasco Railway Police Station, under the supervision of PI Amarnath Passi and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
