Morjim local ends life
PERNEM: A 35-year-old man of Gawadewada-Morjim allegedly committed suicide at his residence on Thursday.
According to information, Nilesh Mithbavkar is reported to have ended his life when his wife and daughter were not in the house.
While the exact motive behind the death is unclear, police suspect that Mithbavkar may have taken the drastic step after his additional construction was demolished, following a complaint from a minister, and that, he had also availed of a bank loan.
Pernem Police registered an offence of suicide and PSI Vijaykumar Chodankar conducted the inquest. The body was sent for an autopsy to GMC Hospital in Bambolim.
