AAP members from Mormugao constituency on Monday filed an objection with Mormugao Dy Collector Sachin Desai regarding the reservations of wards for the civic polls.
The AAP also has submitted the objections to the election commission and Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) as well.
Mormugao AAP coordinator Parshuram Sonurlekar told reporters that reservations were unethical and biased, with no reservation for women in Mormugao constituency.
"During the civic election in 2015, there were 3 seats reserved for women candidates but this time we are shocked to find that there is no reservation for women candidates in Mormugao.”
“The present reservation stands at 45%, including ST, SC, OBC, Women, and with 25 wards in Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC), nearly 11 wards have to be reserved, including women reservation, which means every alternate ward have to be reserved," said Sonurlekar.
Sonurlekar said the urban development department had miserably failed to allot the reservation quota.
"This clearly indicates the favouritism for the ruling party and the MLAs, especially the urban development minister. We believe he had already finalised his candidates before the order was issued by taking meetings at all wards with the public and projecting the candidates in advance much before the reservation declared," said Sonurlekar.
AAP Vasco leader Sunil Loran said all reservations had been pushed in Vasco constituency.
"Vasco Constituency has faced injustice with most reservations and Mormugao has maximum wards in the general category. We hope an enquiry will be conducted and restructure the reservations to help people participate properly in elections," said Loran.

AAP Mormugao taluka incharge Ernesto Moraes has said the AAP would contest the civic polls.
"We have our own government in Delhi and we are an opposition party in Punjab. We have a candidate elected at the recent ZP elections in Goa on an AAP ticket.”
“There are elections in 11 municipal councils and one corporation in Panaji and AAP will participate in all these elections. We have decided to field candidates for all these elections, but candidates will be placed in wards where we have a stronghold and large number of volunteers," said Moraes.
