The Maina Curtorim police has arrested two more persons in connection with the murder of the suspected motorcycle theft accused.
Withe the arrested of the two persons, the total number of persons arrested by the police in the case so far has gone up to five.
The Maina Curtorim police has identified seven persons who were part of the mob involved in allegedly assaulting the motorcycle theft accused.
Maina Curtorim police station Incharge PI Kapil Nayak informed that the accused persons were identified from the CCTV footage while assaulting the deceased.
He said with the arrest of the two accused persons, the total number of arrested accused persons is now 5, while 7 accused persons have been identified so far.
PI Nayak further informed that the three persons arrested in the case on Friday has been remanded to five days police custody for the purpose of further investigation.
