The Institution of Engineers (India), Goa State Centre, is organising a two-day national seminar on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Building Construction and Structural Design’ on February 28 and March 1, 2025, in Panaji. Goa State Centre, emphasised AI’s role in transforming project planning, execution, and management. Siddhant Dubhashi, Honorary Secretary, highlighted AI’s potential in improving efficiency, safety, and material innovation. The seminar will include sessions by prominent speakers such as Er. Nandika Srinivas Rao from Ultratech Cement Ltd., who will discuss the role of digitisation in construction, and Anik Mal from Bentley Systems, presenting on infrastructure digital twins. Er. Gundala Nagaraju will cover AI applications in geotechnical engineering, while Dr. Venkata Dilip Kumar Pasupuleti from Mahindra University will address AI’s role in structural health monitoring. Er. Sajit R. Nair will focus on AI-driven site inspection, and Milind Anvekar will discuss emerging AI trends in construction. The seminar is open to civil engineers, architects, surveyors, builders, and professionals in related fields. Registrations can be done online or offline, with the deadline set for February 25, 2025.
