Navelim man cheated of Rs 1.96 lakh

A resident of Navelim has been cheated to the tune of Rs 1.96 lakh after an unknown person unauthorizedly gained access to his mobile device and online banking/payment application.

Complainant Herculano Rebello stated that the accused  dishonestly induced and caused an unauthorized online transfer of Rs. 1,96,000 from the complainant's bank account without his consent, thereby causing wrongful loss to the complainant.
