On Saturday night, a video that went viral showing hookers openly soliciting clients along the Calangute-Baga road, clearly exposed Calangute's dark underbelly and its tryst with the flesh trade.
As reported in The Goan on Sunday, the video further confirms Arz director, Arunendra Pandey's worst fears that Goa may soon turn into a large brothel.
Sources along the popular coastal belt disclosed the incident shot on the video was not a recent phenomenon and such incidents were frequent in the area during the weekends.

According to the police, one of the two women was from Maharashtra and the other from West Bengal
The women were produced before the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mapusa and later lodged in Protective Home, Merces
