Nigerian national was arrested in Calangute on charges of possessing drugs in the wee hours of Saturday.

Chika Onyeawasi was arrested by Calangute Police when they found 30 grams of ganja worth ` 1,500 in his possession. On Friday night, a police party found the accused near CafÃ© Delmar, Sauta-vaddo, Calangute. On inquiry and personal search, police found narcotics suspected to be ganja on his person. He was arrested under Section 20 (b) (ii) (A) of NDPS Act.
