Rotary District 3170 Governor and noted Goan hotelier Gourish Dhond was felicitated by Kalashree Bumb and Furniture Mall at Udyambag in Belagavi.
He was felicitated for his commitment to the people of Belagavi and Hubli-Dharwad region by implementing various people-oriented projects.
During the function, Dhond lauded the role played by Kalashree Group in generating employment and supporting social causes in Belagavi and Goa region.
“I appreciate Prakash Dolekar and family for generating largescale employment to traders and dealers in Goa by launching various schemes for Goan customers. The services rendered by the group for the benefit of Goan customers are exemplary,” said Dhond, who is in Belagavi to launch various community-oriented projects by Rotary Club.
Managing Director of Kalashree Bumb Prakash Dolekar informed that a large number of Goans are visiting the mall and taking benefit of the wholesale rates of all types of steel furniture, consumer durables and grocery items made available on three floors of the mall.
“The quality of our products is excellent whereas the rates are also reasonable due to which a large number of Goans have patronised us,” Dolekar said.
Dhond suggested that Dolekar register the company with the Goa Handicrafts department so that the products reach out to more Goans.
Sukanya Dolekar, Anant Nadgouda, Satish Jutekar and the presidents and secretaries of Rotary Club from Belagavi were present on the occasion.
