Vasco MLA Krishna (Daji) Salkar has appealed to Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and KTC Chairman Ulhas Tuenkar to add buses along the Vasco-Margao route and to have a direct bus service between Vasco and Goa University for the benefit of students.
Salkar was talking to reporters after Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and KTC Chairman Ulhas Tuenkar flagged off new KTC electric buses along the Vasco-Panaji and Airport-Calangute routes on Thursday.
Salkar said a lot of students had approached him to increase the frequency of KTC buses from Vasco.
"We have been informed that many more EV buses are planned and we only request the KTC to add some buses on the Vasco-Margao route as well. We also have a lot of students studying in Goa University and they also face a lot of hardships.”
“I appeal to the KTC to add direct EV buses from Vasco to Goa University at Bambolim for the benefit of these students," said Salkar.
