Thanks for India’s first online platform for “Do-it-Yourself”, wherein one can prepare legal documents,  including agreements, affidavit and forms by sitting right in one’s  home.

It was ‘LawMate.in’ that launched The Legal Capsule (TLC),  India’s first do-it-yourself legal document platform. Since its  establishment in 2016, LawMate.in, a property of Attort Legal Consultancy Pvt Ltd, has addressed over 3,000 entrepreneurs, has  registered over 200 start-ups and provides online

services such as  company registration, IP services, legal documentation and mediation  services to name only a few.

Addressing the media along with Akshay  Hegde, Legal executive and Scarlett Dias, Legal content head, TLC  founder Gautami Raiker, entrepreneur and law graduate, who has since  been tirelessly working in promoting the start-up India programme, said  this one of a kind initiative in India provides customer-oriented services  in the quickest, easiest and most reliable way possible. “TLC, through  its user friendly services, aims at making documentation hassle-free,  cost effective and less time consuming,” she said.

Gautami pointed  out that using pre-drafted, ready to use legal documents, one can create  one’s own legal documents online within minutes and also request home  delivery of documents printed on stamp paper. As an added benefit, every  user is guaranteed their first document, of any kind, free of cost, she  added.

“The advancement of technology is truly unstoppable. With  just about anything capable of being done from the comfort of your own  home, why should legal documentation be any different. From this  realisation, The Legal Capsule was born,” Gautami added.

Future  endeavours of the trio includes starting of a young lawyers affiliate  programme to support fresh law graduates in profitably employing their  skills.
