Odisha man arrested with 1.2 kg drugs at Canacona

Canacona police arrested a man from Odisha on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 1.23 lakh at Dumane in Canacona late Thursday night.

Canacona Police conducted a raid at Dumane junction between 8.45 pm and 11 pm and found Harish Chandra Nayak allegedly in possession of 1.23 kg of ganja.

The accused is arrested and presently in the custody of Canacona police.

The narcotic raid was conducted under the leadership of PI Chandrakant Gawas and the supervision of Canacona SDPO Nilesh Rane and SP South.
