Odisha native arrested with ganja worth Rs 89,500

The Colva police on late Friday night arrested a native of Odisha after he was found in possession of ganja worth Rs 89,500.

Colva police informed that the police conducted a raid on November 1 between 19:10 hrs to 23:00 hrs near Lovers Beach, Betalbatim. 

A personal search of accused namely Sumeet Mohan Das, resident of Betalbatim and a native of Khordha, Odisha revealed that he was in possession of a bag containing flowery-like substance, suspected to be ganja weighing 895 grams and worth Rs 89,500.

Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Varshda Naik Dessai.
