Conversion of tenanted and khazan lands, non-development slopes are among wrongdoings in the Outline Development Zones (ODPs) currently under scrutiny quoted by TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane to term them "shocking to say the least".
In a series of tweets late Wednesday evening, Rane said: "It's interesting to compare Calangute-Candolim ODP to newly created ODP. These irregularities are shocking to say the least.”
Rane also listed high rise buildings approved without proper access and conversion of own properties through the ODPs by former PDA chairpersons and some people at high level positions.
He said the Irregularities will be shared in the public domain by survey numbers once the ODP review exercise being conducted by a panel headed by the Chief Town Planner Rajesh Naik is completed.
