CANACONA
A 38-year-old plumber was arrested on Tuesday midnight on charges of possessing drugs worth Rs 92,000 at a house in Bhatpal-Canacona.
Acting on a lead, Canacona police raided the premises and arrested Rajeev Vijayan, a native of Alleppey-Kerala, but presently residing at Newwadda-Bhatpal.
Police seized 921 grammes of ganja worth Rs 92,100 in the raid.
The accused has been remanded to two days in police custody and Canacona PSI Swadesh Dessai is investigating the case under the supervision of Canacona PI Tulshidas Naik.
