According to PI Deepak Pednekar, the deceased, Paryekar had retired on August 31, last year, after one year extension and was struggling over the last many months to get his pension papers cleared.
The deceased’s family members said he was in distress due to delay in getting the pension.
Youth feared drowned at Ganje
PONDA: A youth from Ponda was feared drowned in the Bhandara at Ganje-Usgao on Sunday evening.
Police informed that they rushed to the site after receiving the information about the incident. The youth along with his friends had ventured into the Bandhara, where they were picnicking. The police tried to search for the youth, who is feared drowned till late in the evening.
