One Covid related death was recorded at Hospicio in Margao on Saturday taking Goa’s Covid victim count to 805.
The Directorate of Health Services, through its mortality bulletin, informed that the patient was brought dead to Hospicio.
The deceased was a 38 year-old woman from Navelim.
Meanwhile, Goa’s daily positivity rate spiked once again with 93 or 6.2 per cent of the 1,496 samples testing positive for Covid-19.
The total confirmed cases have now risen to 55,851 of which 54,279 have recovered while 767 are presently active.
