PORVORIM: A 30-year-old motorcycle rider died in a road accident at Bhutki Waddo, Porvorim, on Thursday afternoon.
According to Porvorim Police, Suresh Ramachandra Das was proceeding towards National Highway 17 on his motorcycle (GA-03-S-2293), when the scooter (GA-07-J-8354) dashed the motorcycle while taking a turn.
Police further informed that the motorcycle rider, Das lost control of his vehicle and dashed against the compound wall. He sustained grievous injuries and was rushed to Goa Medical College Hospital at Bambolim, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Porvorim Police Sub Inspector Sarvesh Gadekar is investigating the case.
