MAPUSA: Mapusa Police arrested a man on charges of molesting and abusing a girl at Taliwada-Mapusa on Friday.
According to Mapusa Police, the victim girl complained that she was on her way home after finishing work when the accused, Atul Bondre stopped her at Taliwada-Mapusa. The accused allegedly abused and forced her to sit on his two-wheeler by threatening her with dire consequences.
Police further said the locals rushed to the rescue of the victim girl and caught the victim and informed the Mapusa Police, who rushed to the site and arrested the accused Bondre. Mapusa PSI Kiran Naik is investigating the case.
