Maina Curtorim police arrested two men in connection with a bull fight held in open fields at Curtorim. Police said the accused, Menino Fernandes from Nuvem and Antonio Pacheco from Curtorim, had jointly organised the bull fight for public entertainment. Both were arrested and later released on bail. They have been booked under Section 125 read with 3(5) of the BNS 2023, and Sections 11(m)(ii)(n) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
