PANAJI: The State Government has declared (Sunday) 22 March as a ‘Paid Holiday’ on account of general elections to zilla panchayats in Goa. The paid holiday shall be applicable to industrial, daily wage workers of government departments and state government industrial departments, commercial and industrial workers of private establishments, workers of all private establishments and daily wage/casual workers employed in any business, trade, industrial undertakings or any other establishments, according to press release.
