BJP’s South Goa candidate Pallavi Dempo has praised Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar for spearheading the construction of 25 houses for the needy under the Shram-Dham project.
Dempo was speaking at a meeting on Monday as part of her second campaign in Canacona constituency for the Lok Sabha polls.
Dempo first visited the Vitthal Rakhumai Devasthan Temple at Dhavallkhazan, Agonda where she was received by Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar
Addressing the locals, Dempo reminded the people of the best developments carried out in Goa and cited the National Forensic University, Bio-Diversity Park at Molem and all expressways in Goa, including the Manohar Parrikar Bypass road in Canacona.
Praising Tawadkar for doing the best for the people, Dempo said Canacona has been making remarkable development in terms of water supply, underground cabling, etc.
Later, she mingled with residents of the area, and assured to remain with the people once elected as MP.
