SANGUEM
Having taken charge as Minister for Archives and RND, Sanguem MLA Subhash Phaldessai has been on the move to boost the development of the Sanguem constituency.Phaldessai has been pushing ahead with development projects which have missed several inauguration dates in the last five years.
The first on the agenda is the construction of Ravindra Bhavan at Pajimol-Sanguem. During the time when Phaldessai was Sanguem MLA in his last tenure, he had proposed the construction of Ravindra Bhavan at Pajimol-Sanguem but the project failed to see the light of the day during the last five years.
During his inspection at the proposed site for the Ravindra Bhavan, Phaldessai assured to laying of the foundation stone for the project by November end of this year.
Phaldessai also recently visited the ongoing work of the construction of the parallel bridge at Dando-Sanguem, which has been going on at a snail's pace since last over three years. He promised to get the work expedited and get it completed at the earliest.
Phaldessai also decided to complete the project works on playgrounds in all panchayats of the Sanguem constituency which he had undertaken during his last tenure as MLA but could not be completed by the outgoing MLA during his tenure of five years.
Residents in Sanguem have placed high hopes on the Sanguem MLA for the development of the Sanguem Constituency after his elevation as minister.
