SANGUEM
Sports Minister Govind Gaude has assured to improve infrastructure and other facilities at the Government Sports Complex in Sanguem.
During his visit to the Sanguem constituency on Tuesday, Gaude admitted that facilities at the Government Sports Complex are in a bad state and also promised to upgrade indoor facilities at the sports complex.
He also stressed on the need for a total revamp of the indoor gym facilities and the lone badminton court which is in a sorry state of affairs at the complex.
Gaude decided to immediately depute his team of engineers and sports associates to work on the estimates to upgrade the facilities at the complex.
Speaking on the condition of the ground at the sports complex, Gaude assured to complete the project work which has been left incomplete to some extent, including a total revamp of the walking track.
He also decided to inaugurate the ground at Malkarnem village, which is in the final stage of completion.
