PERNEM: Newly deputed Pernem Police Inspector Sanjiv Dalvi has taken charge of Pernem police station, replacing PI Devendra Gad who retired from service on March 31.
Shortly after Gad retired from service, Mapusa PI Tushar Lotlikar was given additional charge of Pernem police station and PI Dalvi was given independent charge of Pernem Police station on April 11.
PI Dalvi had earlier worked as a traffic police inspector at Curchorem and for last two-and-half years, he also handled the charge as police inspector of Valpoi police station. In 2002, he was PSI at Vasco and Ponda police stations.
