Plaint filed over misplacement of water meters

In a complaint lodged with Margao town police, MMC councillor Kutbuddin Bagewadi has demanded an inquiry into the alleged 'misplacement' of 15 water meters from residents of his ward. According to Margao town police, the MMC councillor informed in his complaint that the 'misplacement' occurred on Wednesday night in his ward at Gogol, Housing Board. Margao town police are conducting an inquiry into the complaint.

An unidentified caller allegedly duped a Cuncolim resident of Rs 30,500 after allegedly inducing the victim to disclose his ATM card details on telephone.
