Police assistance booth at MMC square MARGAO: As a part of their social initiative, the Goa Gold Dealer Association sponsored a police assistance booth at MMC square, which was handed over to the police department by Margao MLA Digambar Kamat.
Kamat termed this move on the part of this Association as a good initiative. “The booth is centrally located which will be of immense help,” Kamat remarked.
Police personnel manning the booth can keep a watch on the surrounding, Kamat added.
Lauding the initiative of such a nature undertaken by the Association to be launched in Margao, Kamat claimed the Association has shown the path in this regard. “People will get immediate relief,” Kamat stated.
Earlier, Association secretary Swapnil Walke welcomed the gathering. Those present occasion included MMC Chairperson Dr Babita Angle Prabhudesai, Vice-Chairperson Doris Texeira, councillors Damu Naik and Manoj Masurkar, Margao PSI Girendra Naik and Association president Pramit Raikar.
