Police register FIR over Colva bullfight

The Colva police has registered an FIR against unknown persons for organising a bullfight on Saturday.  

Police said that on September 20, within their jurisdiction, two unidentified persons organised a bullfight between two bulls on an open ground for public entertainment. They allegedly provoked the animals to fight, subjecting them to cruelty.  

A case has been registered under Sections 11 (m) and (n) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act against the unknown accused.

MARGAO  After years of neglect, the Cuncolim Municipal Hall may finally get a new lease of life.
