Police transfer 83 personnel in routine reshuffle

PANAJI

The Goa police on Wednesday transferred 83 police personnel, including one police inspector, in what the department said was a routine administrative exercise.

According to the transfer order signed by Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Dharmesh Angle, Police Inspector Paresh Navelkar has been moved from the Police Training School (PTS), Valpoi, to the Bomb Disposal and Dog Squad unit.

The order also includes the transfer of 10 police sub-inspectors, along with several assistant sub-inspectors, head constables and constables from various police stations and units.

In-charge officers of the concerned police stations and units have been asked to relieve the transferred staff immediately so that they can report to their new postings.
