CANACONA: A minor boy from Ponda was reported to have been kidnapped at Loliem on Friday afternoon.
According to Canacona police, Sunita Pereira of Bandora-Ponda, complained that her minor son was kidnapped by an unknown person at Loliem at about 2.20 pm on Friday.
Police described the minor as having a fair complexion, wearing a white-coloured shirt and blue-coloured half pant, of slim build and speaking Konkani, Hindi and English.
Canacona police have registered a case under Section 363 IPC and Section 8 of Goa Children’s Act.
PSI Prashal Dessai is investigating the case further, under the supervision of PI Rajendra Prabhudesai.
