The National highway road passing through the city around the Margao Municipal garden has started cracking at many places, with potholes posing danger to motorists, especially two-wheelers.
The worst affected stretch near the Marliz café has already played host to a couple of accidents, including two-wheelers.
That’s not all. The road, which was repaired by the PWD after it got washed off last time round, is on the verge of cracking.
Sunday saw at least two accidents on the busy road around the Margao Municipal garden as the pot holes have only widened and multiplied in the last couple of days.
One can see with the naked eye black metal disintegrating, resulting in pot holes, with motorists warning that the riding on the road has turned risky.
IN fact, one can see the road cracking right from Club Harmonia, the same stretch which was repaired at least twice since the last three years.
