The State government through the Electricity Department has proposed to fill 255 positions of ‘Line’ helpers via direct recruitment.
The Electricity department has advertised and sought applications for the 255 Line Helpers but on a 'temporary basis'.
Aspirants are required to apply in the online mode only, through the https://cbes.goa.gov.in up to July 4.
The details of the recruitment process and the 255 vacancies, which are in the Pay Matrix Level-I can also be accessed on the Goa government website www.goa.gov.in as also on www.goaelectricity.gov.in of the Goa electricity department.
These are the same 255 posts that the Electricity Department had initiated a process to fill up back in December last year via an advertisement it had issued on December 31.
That process, however, had to be abandoned as the Election Commission announced the schedule for the 2022 Assembly elections on January 10 last, well ahead of the January 14, 2022 deadline for applications.
However, aspirants who had applied then need not apply again as their applications will be taken into account for the new process, the advertisement said.
