The South Goa Sessions Court has issued fresh summons to seven witnessed in the alleged Power rebate scam allegedly involving former Power Minister and incumbent Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho.
When the matter came up for hearing before Special Judge Irshad Agha on Friday, the prosecution submitted before the court that the police has managed to obtain the addresses of seven out of the 10 witnesses who have retired from service.
Based on the submission, Judge Agha has ordered issuance of fresh summons to the seven witnesses to attend the Court at the next date of hearing.
