Power shutdown
PANAJI: A planned annual shutdown has been arranged from Xeldem sub-station and Cuncolim sub-station in South Goa on April 16, between 8 am to 2 pm in order to complete pre-monsoon maintenance works on the lines and the switch-yard at Xeldem and Cuncolim and also in the associated sub-stations feeding from Xeldem sub-station. There will not be power supply to Canacona, Rivona, Sanguem, Xelpem, Cuncolim, Quepem, Assolda, Xeldem, Sanvordem, Benaulim, Velim, Carmona, Nessai, Shigao, Curchorem and Poiguinim and also to Salaulim water works at Xelpem, during the period of the shutdown.
