the goan I network\rMARGAO\rSwapnil Naik has said the Comunidade cannot make any plots in land surveyed under no 16/1 which has been acquired by the govt to set up an educational complex. \r The Collector told the media that the Administrator of Comunidade has lodged his complaint with the police following the proposal made by the Davorlim Communidade attorney Leon Raikar seeking approval for the plots. \rThe Collector has cautioned the people not to fall prey to the machinations of the Davorlim comunidade, while requesting the people to approach the authorities in case they have paid any money for the plots. \r“We have received information that plots are being made in survey no 14/1 and 16/1 of Davorlim village. I want to make clear that there cannot be any plots in plot no 16/1 since the land was acquired by the district Collector for the educational complex. In fact, We have already handed over the land in question to the education department for development,” Naik informed. \r Meanwhile, Maina Curtorim PI Harish Madkaikar said the police is conducting preliminary inquiry into the complaint recevied from the South Goa Administrator of Comunidades .
