The Konkan Railway police arrested a Pune resident, Prathamesh Kothmire (29), for allegedly stealing an iPhone 14 from a passenger on the Kochuveli Express train..
The victim, 22-year-old Jibin T from Kerala, reported that on 16/08/2024, while he was sleeping in Coach B2, the accused stole his iPhone 14 worth Rs 56,000.
Police recovered four stolen phones from Prathamesh, including the iPhone, all without SIM cards. He has been remanded to five days in police custody.
