VASCO

The Sancoale Panchayat is set to table the show-cause reply from Parmesh Constructions Co. Ltd, commonly known as Bhutani Infra, during its upcoming general body meeting on October 18.

The meeting, which will be attended by the sarpanch, deputy sarpanch, panchayat secretary, and all panch members, will decide the future course of action regarding the company’s proposed mega project at Savarfond.

“We have decided to table the reply in the general body meeting for collective deliberation. The panchayat body will review the reply before determining the next steps,” said a source.

The show-cause notice was issued to Bhutani Infra following a tense and highly charged meeting on September 25, during which local residents, activists, and opposition members expressed strong objections to the proposed development.

The panchayat had directed the company to adhere to all Planning and Development Authority (PDA) regulations and submit the necessary documents and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) within seven days.
