Recruitment at South Collectorate: Candidates can obtain admit cards online: Nodal officer

With questions raised in many quarters for posting the examination admit cards of the thousands of candidates on incomplete address, the Nodal officer for the recruitment and selection, Collectorate has on Friday said that candidates who have not received the admit card by post offices may download the same from the websitehttps://southgoa.nic.in/recruitment/ and https://www.goa.gov.in/citizen/recruitment/. 

The office of the Collector, South Goa has also set up a Help Desk at Room No. 315 for any enquiries or clarification, on any working days during office hours.

The nodal officer has further stated that the admit cards can also be downloaded from the website of the O/o Collector South i.e. https://southgoa.nic.in/recruitment/ and from the portal of the Government i.e. https://www.goa.gov.in/citizen/recruitment/.  

The candidates have been further advised to carry their admit card, saying the government photo identity card is mandatory.

The nodal officer pointed out that candidates who have not given complete address may also collect their admit cards from their taluka or concerned jurisdictional post office.

The Nodal Officer for Recruitment and Selection, Collectorate South Goa has said that the Office of the Collector of South Goa has posted the admit cards to the eligible candidates who have applied for Group “C” post including those names sponsored by Employment Exchange and Department of Sainik Welfare, under various  categories of  Jr Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk, Talathi and Multi-Tasking Staff as per the Advertisement No.12/255/Est/Recruitment/2019 dated on 24/01/2019 issued by the Collectorate of South Goa District, Margao.

Stating that the Collectorate office had published public notices in local dailies on September 19, 2023 and subsequently again on September 22, 2023, the Nodal Officer, South Collectorate has further stated that public notices are published on social media handles of this office i.e. on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

“Further communication is being established with candidates on email, text messages (cell phone) and phone calls from this office phone numbers. It is once again clarified that candidates who have not received the admit card by post offices may download the same from the websitehttps://southgoa.nic.in/recruitment/ and https://www.goa.gov.in/citizen/recruitment/,” the statement added.
