An electric pole at the Rawanfond traffic junction has attracted the attention of the local residents as well as vendors doing business around the pole.
For, the pole has been found tilting over the last few months, but the Power Department has not displayed any urgency in initiating measures to ensure the pole does not come crashing down on the moving vehicles and the vendors doing business at the place.
A vendor said they have found that the electric pole has been tilting, posing danger to the motorists as well as the vendors. In fact, they made a fervent plea to the power department to inspect the pole and initiate necessary measures.
Another resident feared loss of lives in the event the pole comes crashing down, even as he requested the department to take immediate measures.
