A resident of Telaulim-Navelim, Carlos Gomes has complained to the Margao police that he was brutally assaulted by five persons on July 27 at S.P Carvalho Premises Telaulim.
He has named five persons, namely Melvin Pereira, Selvin, Carmu, Joseph and Salman behind the assault. He said the accused persons, tress-passed into his property and with their common intension assaulted him and damaged a LCD Television and four chairs.
Margao Police Station has registered a FIR under section 329(1), (2), 115(2), 324(4) r/w 3(5) & 189(1) (c) of BNS Act, 2023. Further investigation is ongoing with ASI, Rosario Dias of Margao Town P.S.
