Revolutionary Goans (RG) Chief Manoj Parab on Wednesday said RG’s St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar would introduce various RG policies in the forthcoming assembly session.

"We have already drafted our policies and we will place our private member's resolution for Government jobs, People of Goan Origin (POGO) bill and land bill, besides various other subjects so that there is no lobbying and corruption for government jobs," said Parab, while speaking to reporters after a meeting with GSL officials on Wednesday.

Parab stated that the RG would also demand local employment in the banking sector.

"Banking is a big employment generator but today we go to a bank, most officers don't know Konkani despite we getting so much money from outside and having the highest deposit ratio across the country.”

“We will also take up local employment with Railways and other government sectors but also with IDC as well to demand Jobs for Goans without harassment," said Parab.

RG St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar said he will raise the issue of GSL in the assembly.

"We will obviously place the POGO bill which has been our main pillar in the assembly and we have also taken up concrete steps in this regard. Besides, we will meet Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and submit our demand for employment of Goans at GSL.”

“Employment for Goans is become a major issue and I will raise this in the upcoming assembly session because Goans are not getting employment in GSL or any other central institutions and not even local industries,” Borkar added.
