In a first, the Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) has expelled its Mayem candidate for Assembly polls Shrikrishna Parab from the party with effect from June 26.
The move comes after RGP’s core executive committee decided to terminate Parab’s primary membership for indulging in anti-party activities.
In the notice issued to Parab by RGP general secretary Vishvesh Naik, it has been stated that Parab indulged in tarnishing and damaging image of the party, disobedience, non-participation in party’s political activities, defaming party in the media and using discriminatory language/ conducting with other members.
