Rivona local dies in accident

A motorcyclist in his late thirties hailing from Baga-Rivona was killed when his motorcycle and a tipper truck collided with each other at Gaiginim-Rivona on Tuesday evening.
According to reports, Peter Lopes, presently residing at Chandor, was riding the motorcycle towards Quepem while the truck was proceeding in the opposite direction.
He was rushed to a hospital, but was declared dead on arrival by doctors there.
Quepem police is investigating the incident.
