Road work at Thall-Shiroda
PONDA: Industries Minister Mahadev Naik said if there is peoples' support for developmental works, then the works can be carried out easily.
He was speaking after launching the asphalting of road work at Thall-Shiroda.
Referring to the demand of the people to widen the road in the area, Naik said such works can be carried out only when there is support from the people.
Naik assured the people of Thall that along with asphalting of roads, the area will be illuminated. “I will even work towards constructing retaining walls, wherever required,” Naik assured.
He informed that his office is in process to replace fixtures and wires of street lights in the area.
Sarpanch Sandesh Prabhudesai spoke on the occasion.
Deputy Sarpanch Andrew Duart, Panch Manuel Cruz, Sanjeevani Naik and others were present.
