Project for boosting capacity to 13 mn pax per year

The Airports Authority of India on Monday began Rs 200 crore project of extending the terminal at Dabolim airport, which will enhance the passenger-handling capacity to 13 million per annum.
According to the AAI, the foundation stone for the airport terminal extension project was laid by Airport Director Gagan Malik in the presence of officials.
This extension will add 18,000 square metres to the existing 65,000 sq metre area. It will add up more area for security holdings, additional X-BIS machines, and two new aerobridges with a bus lounge for remote boarding.
