Saraswat Samaj students to be feted
PANAJI: The annual function of Goa Saraswat Samaj students felicitation and distribution of scholarship under Vidhya Vardhini Scheme is scheduled on August 28, at 3 pm in Vidhyadhiraj Mutt Sankul Gogol Margao.
The managing committee of Goa Saraswat Samaj has appealed to all deserving Saraswat students to apply for the felicitation. Those who have secured 90 percent in Std X; those who have secured 85 percent in Std XII (Science), or 80 percent in Std XII Arts/Commerce; Science Graduation securing 80 percent.
Other Graduation and Post-Graduation students who have secured 75 percent.
For scholarship the deserving Saraswat students from Class XI and XII and those who are pursuing degree or professional and post graduates courses can apply in the prescribed form under General and Vidhya Vardhini Scheme.
The Samaj will also felicitate those who have achieved maximum marks in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi at Std X and also those who have done well in fields like music, sports, etc.
