Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday resumed office physically post his Covid-19 recovery and immediately batted for the farm legislations introduced by the BJP-led Centre and which have drawn flak from ryots in some North Indian States.
Sawant claimed with the passing of The Farmers Produce Trade & Commerce (Promotion & Facilitation) Bill 2020, the farmers can opt for better price for their produce.
“Inter and Intra state barriers are history now,” Sawant said while commenting on the farm bills which have drawn flak in several quarters for their potential to permit the Corporate sector take over control of pricing and leave farmers at their mercy.
