Scooters collide at Agonda, 2 injured

Two riders were injured when two scooters collided at Agonda on Tuesday morning.
According to sources, the incident occurred when a girl from Agonda was riding towards Khola, while a youth from Matvemoll-Khola was travelling in the opposite direction on a newly purchased scooter. Both scooters collided on the MDR-49 road at Burmar-Agonda.
Due to the impact, both riders were thrown off their scooters and fell on opposite sides of the road, sustaining multiple injuries.
A police team from the Agonda police outpost reached the spot and helped the injured riders into an ambulance, which took them to the Canacona CHC. The police conducted the panchanama and later cleared both vehicles from the road.
