The North Goa Collectorate in association with Blood Bank,Goa Medical College, Bambolim held a half-day screening camp for plasma donorsfrom North Goa at Miramar Residency. A total of 13 corona survivors werescreened for plasma donation.
Informing about the camp, Deputy Collector, Panaji GurudasDesai informed, “This is for the first time in North Goa we are organising sucha camp. The screening camp will save time that is required in the proceedingsof plasma donation. We contacted corona survivors in North Goa. Having a jointscreening will be a great morale booster for donors as well as their families.I appeal to survivors, symptomatic as well as asymptomatic, to donate theirplasma as it can save someone’s life.
