SFX novenas at Divar school

PANAJI: Our Lady of Divar High school, Divar conducts novena of St Francis Xavier in the school. The novena is read daily followed by the hymn on St Francis Xavier. On November 26, the school conducted a special assembly on St Francis Xavier with the theme: 'What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?

Teacher Anthony on the occasion made a reflection on the theme and spoke on the life of St Francis Xavier and his missions in Asia. Student Elaine Lima spoke on the five facts of St Francis Xavier and Clency Monteiro conducted a quiz on the saint.

Earlier Anaya Picardo made a special poster on St Francis Xavier and the students of class VII placed flowers at the statue of the saint.
